The Shopping Centre is owned and managed by First Capital Realty, and is located at the intersection of 152nd Street (with vehicular traffic 19,500 per day) and 16th Avenue (with vehicular traffic of 14,700 per day). Semiahmoo Shopping Centre is located on 18 acres of property in the southwest corner of the Lower Mainland, just 45 kms from Vancouver and 5 minutes from the Canada/US border.
Semiahmoo Shopping Centre is the only enclosed Shopping Centre in our primary trading area, serving the prestigious communities of South Surrey and the White Rock peninsula. Anchored by PriceSmart Foods, Zellers and a BC Liquor Store, Semiahmoo has 75 shops and services in 275,000 sq ft. The new Shoppers Drug Mart is scheduled to open early 2011. The shopping centre is currently completing a major renovation of the interior of the shopping centre including floors, ceilings, bulkheads, columns, lighting, washrooms, food court, children’s play area, furniture, artwork and paint. This total renovation will be completed by the end of summer 2010, in time for Semiahmoo’s 30th Anniversary!
